Still wrapped on the original plastic spool holder made for use in the fabric store, this bright red satin 1/4 inch wide cording is New Old Stock vintage. The brand shown on the holder is MASTEX, the color is J4 and the style is 31400. According to the spool label there were originally 24 yards of this satin cording.

I have not completely unwrapped it to determine how much is there, but it appears to be full. I measured one front wrap at a bit over 12 inches. There are 15 rolls on the front on both sides for a total of 30 wraps. The inner wrap has 22 rolls on both sides for a total of 44.

A quick calculation shows that is most likely equivalent to the full 24 yards.

So for just $1 per yard, which is $24 for the entire spool, for one very low price you will get an amazing amount of very usable vintage classic red cording.
