Beautiful lace appliqué in the shape of a butterfly or moth. I believe this is from the Edwardian era, around the turn of the century, though it may be late Victorian from the 1890s. It likely was originally part of a handmade chemise or nightgown. It appears to have been cut out of a soft cotton.

Some loose threads - otherwise excellent vintage / antique condition.

Measures about 7 inches across.
