This bowl made me feel warm inside when I saw it; it reminded me of the dishes we had when I was growing up in Germany. When I flipped it over and saw the Rosenthal Germany label, I guess I knew why. Perfect for a soup bowl (I'm hiding it from my husband because I know he'll want it as his ice cream bowl), to replace a broken bowl from your set, or to use as a decorative accent piece, a key catch, valet dish, water bowl for your design loving dog or cat, or even a cache pot for your plants. The stylized fleur-de-lys pattern in blue really pops.

~CONDITION:

Overall very good condition. There are no outside chips, cracks, or crazing of the glaze. The only callout I have is a pencil lead sized divot on the inside bowl base, which I have shown in an overhead and closeup shot. I have hand washed and dried the bowl in preparation for its next stop in life.
