Very special! We have been hoarding this amazing hand painted tie for over 30 years!

Probably from the 30s or 40s as the tie is a bit short..but that is how ties were worn then....Color is red orange, with glittery gold and other colors hand painted to show a steampunk Jules Verne fantasy scene of rocketships, planets and stars, with trailing lines to depict motion.
Tie is 52. 5 inches long, ( modern ties are 58. 5) and 3. 5 inches wide.

Some flecks of paint from around the earth and other spots have chipped off, but a trip to any craft or art supply store can soon fix that! No holes, snags, or stains!

Labels reads "Hand Painted by Andre of California Hand Tailored", and Hat Shop, 863 Broadway, Buffalo, N. Y.
