VERY RARE Circa 1950's Patricia of Miami Handbag

THIS IS A BEAUTY AND EXTREMELY RARE!!

This Handbag has a Domed Lid with Scalloped Sides. The Color is Extraordinary in Rich Tones of Brown, Butterscotch, and Gold. It looks almost like an Iridescent Wood Grain. It has the Ball Closure that many of the Patricia of Miami Handbags have. It has Four Clear Feet. Inside just below the hinge is the Original Label completely adhered to the Back of the Handbag. This Handbag is so Rare it is not featured in any of the Lucite Handbag reference books.

Some History of the Patricia of Miami Company:
In 1953 Morty Edelstein, formerly of Llewellyn, purchased Bag by Benne and opened up a new firm, Miami Handbag Mfg., Inc. (not the same as the firm "Florida Handbags"). They made unbreakable handbags under the new trademark of, Patricia of Miami, which was named for Mrs. Edelstine.

It is large enough for a 6" phone and your necessaries such as keys and lipstick.

Near MINT CONDITION - This is a Beauty! There is some age-appropriate patina on the hardware. It has been Cleaned and Hand Polished. There is no odor, clouding, chips, or cracks.
