Designed by JR USA, this late 50’s-Early 60’s carpet bag appears not to have been used. The large click closure handbag has a goldtone frame, which is trimmed in black faux leather at the opening. The underside of the double straps and the interior are also faux black leather. The visible goldtone ends of the frame and the stationary goldtone clips that hold the straps to the frame add an attractive accent to the design. The clear zipped interior side compartment is another nice feature. The exterior floral fabric has a needlepoint look. Set on a black backdrop, the flowers area mix of cranberry and pink, pumpkin, gold, olive green, and two shade of blue. There are four brass pegs protecting the 4” bottom base of the handbag.
