Great MCM Italian art pottery with a wonderful shape and even more amazing painted figure on the inside. A ponytailed girl with great colors and style.

There is a signature that is almost impossible to read, it could be Coccio They'd did similar items but not like exactly. It's also signed on the base "Italy" and a bird. Has a bit of a Fantoni look but who ever it is by, it is unique and beautiful.

It is in very good overall vintage condition with very minor signs of wear and age. The under sides of the curved edges are unglazed. It does not look like it was actually used as an ashtray.
