This is a pretty antique white cotton short petticoat. The petticoat has a waistband with a shell button that fastens in the back. The skirt is gathered down into the waistband with the most volume in the back with gorgeous little gathers. The skirt falls to midcalf and has a lovely eyelet lace flounce at the hem.

Condition:
The petticoat is in great condition with no flaws to note. The petticoat has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

It would work well for more layers under a late victorian skirt or a late 1910s dress with a shorter skirt. It's even lovely on its own as a skirt.
