Looking for a unique and fine piece of antique embroidery suitable for use as trim? Look no further...

I recently acquired a large assortment of almost-all antique fabric pieces, laces and trims. This piece is from that group. It consists of a lightweight (and starched) piece of 100% cotton fabric in white, with a very elaborate and microscopic, hand-embroidered pattern in deep cobalt blue color. This pattern is so incredible, with a somewhat geometric-meets-floral style design. The thread used to embroider it is possibly silk, as there are small anomalies in the consistency of the thread (which is often seen in silk).This piece is in excellent condition, with no flaws to note! - 5 7/8 inches width across fabric scrap
- 77 inch length of fabric scrap
- 74 inch length of embroidery
- 1 1/4 inch width of embroidery
