Another rare find. This hoop skirt is from around the early 1900s to possibly 1930
It's a Merry Modes Inc with an original muslin tag. It has an earlier style and maybe earlier but with the dry clean mentioned on the tag I would venture early 1900's although dry cleaning has been around since the 1840's it wasn't usually (sometimes) tagged on garments until the late 1800s to early 1900s
It is in amazing condition for age I see no real issues at all. No stains or rot.
It has a muslin tie at the waist that can be adjusted from very small to approx 34" and still tie-up.
The hips are up to 52"
The length is 37" but there is about 4" of ruffle also
Would work amazingly with my 1930's Wedding dress and veil.
