Bridal White Headpiece / Wedding Hat Priscilla of Boston, Frames Your Face, Fabulous Floral, Bead and Net Details, Unique Bridal Chic, Vtg$88.00
The perfect "something old" for the bride who adores vintage, this spectacular Priscilla of Boston face-framing bridal cap will be the crown for her special day. In Excellent Vintage Condition, it is a true white, with a white satin caplet, trimmed with white floral trim and faux white pearls that are continued on both sides with adjustable wired long side accents. A smattering of tiny faux white pearls add more interest to the net that is gathered to lightly pouf on the top and out on the sides.
Due to the fascinator hat type structure, any measurements are not critical and this is made to be virtually "One Size Fits All".
Inside the front of the cap there is an attached clear comb. That is meant to slide into the bride's hair to hold this headpiece in place.
A rear view shows how the bride's hairdo will be quite visible for anyone who sees her from the back when she is wearing this headpiece.
This legendary company opened its doors in 1945 in Boston. Priscilla of Boston wedding gowns were created by the legendary bridal designer, Priscilla Kidder. She became a fashion star after she designed Grace Kelly's wedding dress in 1956. Unfortunately the business was closed in 2011, but the vintage gowns and accessories made in that shop are still desired by brides seeking the renowned style and craftsmanship.
