The company gradually abandoned the use of soft metals in the '50s, replacing them with stainless steel, transforming production from artisan to industrial. This piece is the perfect fit for a sleek, modernist design scheme. It has a long geometric shape with a slightly raised rim / edge. The undersides is marked "Alfra Alessi, 18/10 stainless steel, Italy". It could be used for serving foods, snacks, and drinks...or as beautiful display pieces for your favorite treasures. 18/10 stainless steel is known for being safe to cook on and serve food on as well as it's corrosion resistance and high-polish finish.
