I am not supposed to be buying ANYTHING, but when I saw this LARGE mint condition Atomic ashtray, I knew I had to find it a good home, and enjoy it myself, until its new owner adopted it. I have a smaller one in a similar shape that has a textured underside, but the size of this larger one is a show stopper, and will make a great gift, for any occasion. Neither of us smoke, but we use all our ashtrays as accents and catch-all trays for a safety pin, a dime, a paper clip, and all the little things that you find in your pocket at the end of the day. It is in mint condition, with NO flaws. On the underside it is signed and dated by the person who glazed it. Even though it was made in 1973, the design of the mold is definitive 1950s. It measures 9" x 9. 5" wide, and about 2. 5" deep at its deepest. It will have to be double boxed, as all my breakables are,
