Romantic Victorian-INSPIRED pale blue cotton gown. I am not certain of the age of this dress as it was handmade. But I believe it dates at the latest to the 1990s. Its incredibly well made of very fine soft cotton. High collared neck. V shaped pin-tucked yoke down the bodice. The V shaped yoke is trimmed in lavender cotton. Fitted bodice. Puffed shoulders with inner structure to retain the shape. Voluminous leg of mutton sleeves that slim at the pin-tucked forearms. Buttons and lavender trim at the wrists. Nipped waist with a lavender trimmed peplum. Very full skirt with gathers that add volume at the sides. Three rows of lavender ribbon trim at the hem. 24 functional plastic buttons down the back. Snaps at the waist. No lining, but the dress is pretty opaque.
