This dress is a lovely example of a Stanley Platos/Martin Ross signature"shift" dress from the 1980s. This particular example is silk devore velvet (a velvet fabric with a raised pattern created by disintegrating some of the pile with chemicals, also known as "burnt" velvet) with a touch of sparkle in the velvet. The dress has small shoulder pads, is lined in silk chiffon, and all of the edges are cased in silk chiffon, and it closes with a hidden back zipper. No size label is present, but we are recommending it for size M. Please refer to the actual measurements for additional information regarding size.

MEASUREMENTS
- Shoulder width is 17"
- Chest is 36" after doubling underarm width.
- Straight sides are 35" around all the way down.
- Length is 35. 5" down center back.

CONDITION
Excellent pre-owned condition with no significant flaws.
