Be pretty in peasant-style pink, with this vintage 80's skirt from designer de la Renta...
This skirt is sheerly lovely with it's romantic layers of silk crepe georgette, delicate lace net inserts, and double layer chiffon lining. A classic peasant, style skirt with high waist fit and gentle flare. The upper skirt consists of panels of airy silk crepe, divided by matching pink lace sections -all layered over two sheer chiffon fabrics, giving an opaque feel. The skirt features a simplistic slit, with hook + eye closure at center back. The overall condition is very good with many repairs throughout; two at waistband, several through skirt, as well as a few 'pulls' in the silk weave and one pale orange stain at mid-level skirt front (not very noticeable, gets lost in the folds -see last photo). The only labels read 'Oscar de la Renta', 'size 8 professionally clean' and an I.L.G.W.U. (Union) label.
Please note: this skirt (as well as a few other items in the shop) were used as wardrobe on soap operas, which may include As The World Turns and Guiding Light. While I'm not sure exactly which soap, or when, the labels are marked with special inventory codes that signify this.
