1980s Dolman Sleeve Blouse in a Linen or Cotton Blend, with Oversized Sleeves, Button Front Closure, and two on-seam pockets. This blouse is wonderfully unique! Peach and white stripes with butterscotch colored plastic buttons. The blouse can be buttoned all the way to the collar, or left open, and looks great both ways. The body of the blouse is cut straight from the neck down to the outer hip. The sleeves are what give this blouse all of its body. Lots of small gathers all around the collar make for voluminous sleeves at the shoulder, and the deep dolman sleeves that go to the waist give this a lot of drama. A fun touch is that this blouse has two pockets, on-seam, like a jacket would. You can see the outline of them because of the seam, but otherwise they are not very visible and are a fun surprise.
This top is in beautiful condition but the slubby fabric does have a couple of small light spots that did not soak out. I have shown them in photos.
There are no tags at all on this blouse. The fabric feels like linen or cotton. The size is a bit more difficult to determine because of the volume of the sleeves, but my best estimate is the this is a modern size small to medium. This is based on the cut of the blouse at the bottom, below the sleeves, and the way it fits the size small model, pictured. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
