When I first found this dress, I admit, it was somewhat of a mystery... but, as I continued sifting through the shop and found many other costume pieces, it all came together and I'm glad I grabbed this funny little number. She was most likely made for a theater or performance and was perhaps only worn once or twice, due to the like-new condition. The style is very late 1920's, with the sailor girl-style collar (possibly made from an old pattern for home-sewing). However, this dress was created using some late 1980's medium weight cotton (or cotton blend) fabrics with cottage core floral prints -in 80's pastel hues- that pass for late 20's to early 30's style patterns. The cut is wide, to fit any size, but also to allow freedom of movement (for house chores). The main body features a soft pink rose print w/yellow ground, and the collar, turned sleeves and attached waist ties are constructed of a green and white gingham print -collar is edged with cream piping as well, and at back bib features a flowers & ribbon theme. The overall condition is excellent (one spot of unfortunate sewing at back bib collar) w/no flaws to note. Please see photographs for details.Measurements:- 15.5 inches across form shoulder to shoulder- 7 inch sleeve length- up to 46 inch bust- up to 46 inch waist- up to 46 inch hips- 37.5 inches total length from shoulder to hemFeel free to contact me with any questions or inquiries ♥,Miss Master
