1980's bold spring floral silk dress by iconic designer Diane Freis. This is a unique Diane Freis as it utilizes one print all over rather than mixed prints as is most prevalent with her work. Seafoam aqua silk with a large scale floral in neon pink, purple, lavender and coral. V neckline trimmed in solid aqua silk. Padded shoulders. Sheer voluminous balloon sleeves with elastic cuffs. Blouson bodice with an elastic shirred wide waistband. Very full midi length skirt that is layered tiers of silk. Lined in aqua silk. Includes a long matching scard that can be worn in a variety of ways. Wrapped at the waist as a belt, around the neck, tied as a head scarf or a turban. This is an absolutely gorgeous dress.
