This vintage black and ivory knit skirt suit from famed Cuban-American designer, Adolfo, features a classic houndstooth knit jacket that is trimmed in solid black and accented with bright gold tone buttons. By the 1980s, Adolfo was best known for his ladylike, Chanel-inspired cardigan suits, such as this one. The jacket is an open cardigan style with a chain to close only the top button; it also has two hip pockets and thin, removable shoulder pads. The pencil skirt is a pull on style with an elastic waist. If needed, the elastic can be accessed through a side seam on the waistband and adjusted. A size label is not present, but based on the measurements, we are estimating the suit to be a size M or 8-10. Please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding size.
