This dress has so much character! It was made in the 1970s, for Neiman Marcus by the Hear Say label, and features a variety of calico floral prints in a cotton shirting fabric. It a shirtwaist bodice with a mandarin collar, and a very full, ladylike skirt, with gathered tiers of alternating prints. My favorite detail are the drawstrings at the shoulders. The elasticized waist means that this will fit a range of sizes; a tie belt covers the waistband. Made in the USA, and the fabric contents are not labeled but feels like cotton.Measurements: This fits like a modern size Medium, but because of the elasticized waist and full skirt, it works well for smaller sizes as well.
