Authentic, preowned, vintage maxi skirt by Yves Saint Laurent, most likely made in the mid to late 70s. Made from an iridescent burgundy taffeta fabric, it features black velvet panels and taffeta ruffles around the entire skirt and hem. A truly special piece that's so easy to style with a black cropped jacket and sash belt! Fastens with wide hook/eye and zipper. Side pockets/unlined/dry clean only. No content label or size tag, fits like a modern S. Approximate measurements (taken flat and doubled where appropriate): waist - 27in, hips - 42in, length - 44in. Preowned/vintage (40+ years old) with some signs of use and prior wear: some skinny pulls noted, hard to see when wearing due to the pleating and voluminous fabric, but evident when closely inspecting (see last image for example).
