70s Large Brown Brushed Leather Androgynous Bag
Carry your belongings in subtle style with this classic leather bag...
I love the androgyny wave of style that hit the 1970's like a sledge hammer. This bag is a wonderful example, in that is has a rectangularly rigid shape with soft curves and details. There is also a juxtaposition between the soft, brushed leather used in the base of the bag, but a smooth, finished leather is used elsewhere; handles, corners, etc. By today's standards, this bag could easily be used by a person of any (or non!) sex. This bag also features a super heavy duty metal zipper closure, a small vinyl zippered pocket inside, and antiqued gold metal hardware. No labels or maker's marks present. Overall condition is very good, aside from the light marks to surface of brushed leather nap, as well as to bottom corners of bag -please see photographs for full details.
