Dora of Aspen
70s Empire Waist Gown with Train Princess Sleeves Vibrant Floral Print Petite$325.00
This is a magical late 60s early 70s empire waist gown. It is made of the most whimsical blue floral printed nylon jersey, with rings of vibrant circles. The gown is an empire-waisted style gown with a scoop neckline and the most wonderful full puff princess leg of mutton sleeves. The sleeves are unlined and the cuffs are lined and fastened with two hooks and eyes for a fitted look. The skirt is a simple A-line silhouette falling to the floor with a small but dramatic train. The gown has ties at the waistline and a metal zipper up the back. Everything but the sleeves are lined in a matching soft lawn like cotton. There is also a tag on the inside that reads Dora of Aspen.
Condition:
The gown is in great condition with only one small thing to note. There are some very faint areas of fading on the skirt. The most noticeable is by the hem, but unless it is pointed out it is not really visible. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
