Description: 1970s Traditional Batik Handprint Maxi Skirt. This gorgeous skirt was certainly well crafted, perhaps custom made for an ambassador’s wife, military wife or foreign travelers. Intricately painted in wax resist, the design has a medieval appearance and almost seems like an Asian William Morris design. The skirt is fully lined, has a metal zipper closure, and a long tie belt. The perfect summer skirt hostess skirt, fall skirt with a denim jacket, or Irish knit sweater!
