Albert Nipon
70s/80s Pink Floral Sheer Dress

Albert Nipon was one of the most popular labels of the 1970s and 1980s, known best for "ultra-feminine, high-end dresses for a chic clientele," to borrow the words of the Vintage Fashion Guild. This dress fits that description perfectly. The flowy, airy fabric is perfect for spring and summer. It features a dainty floral pattern and falls just below the knees. Would pair wonderfully with a pretty belt or sash for a more form-fitting look, or embrace the flowy-ness!

This dress was likely made in the late 1970s or early 1980s.

While the tag is on the side with the buttons, I think it could be cute worn with either side as the front, depending on your preference. The side with buttons also has a few snaps to keep it secure.

It's very sheer -- please note that it's photographed with a slip underneath, but the slip is not original to the dress and not included.

Size: No size label, but fits most similarly to a modern XS/S. Please review measurements below.

Measurements
Bust: 34 inches
Waist: 34 inches
Shoulders: 13 inches (note this measurement -- this is the tightest part of the dress!)
Length: 39 inches

Condition: Very good vintage condition. I spotted a couple of small stains - one on the shoulder and one near the waist. However, they are very light and easy to miss. See the last two photos.

This item is sold from a vintage boutique in Charlotte, NC.
