This 1970s patchwork velvet maxi skirt is really something! It is in fact labeled Something! By Oscar de la Renta, and who are we to argue, LOL. The lush rayon velvet patchwork fabric combines many colors and patterns of textiles, stitched together to form the full-length skirt and wide, high waistband. The fabric is gathered into the flat, fitted waistband, to add fullness through the hip area. The hem has a high slit in back. The skirt is lined with black acetate taffeta, except for the waistband. It is fastened in back with hooks and eyes, and a nylon zipper. The top edge of the wide waistband will sit above the natural waist when the skirt is worn, but we have given the measurement for it at the bottom, approximately at the natural waist. In excellent condition, this 1970s Oscar de la Renta skirt combines super-soft velvet fabric with wonderfully vibrant colors perfect for cozy-yet-elegant winter wear!
