This one-of-a-kind, artisan-made, appliquéd leather and denim 70s shirt jacket features Batman (and Robin), and more! Made here in Chicago for a local shop in the 70s, it is styled like cowboy shirt, with pearly snap closures down the front, on the 2 front pocket flaps, and at each fitted sleeve cuff. You can wear it snapped closed in front or unsnapped, as a jacket. The shirt is quite small and petite, designed to fit a women's form, with a defined waist and narrow shoulders. The dark blue denim is very soft, brushed cotton. The mostly grey and blue leather appliqués are complimented with yellow top stitching, cord trim and prong-set rhinestones. A tiny Robin patch and a few leather star appliqués accent the main Batman design. This unusual 70s patchwork leather and denim jacket is unlined, and in good, totally wearable condition. There is some fading to the denim at the outsides of the sleeves. Also, the face section of the Batman appliqué is slightly puckered (more visible from the inside rather than the outside of the jacket, just below the back of the collar).
