This is a typical, groovy Zodiac purse from the late 60's to early 70's made at the height of astrological style fashion. It is made of a lightweight, blonde wood. The 6 inch diameter black and gold metal dial has all the signs of the zodiac including name, animal and symbol, with a wooden spinner to point to either your zodiac sign or whatever the sign at the time is. The wooden box purse measures 12 x 7 x 3 inches. The inside is brown ultra-suede and has a small 6 x 3 inch pocket. The brass hardware on the outside is still shiny and works fine. The original label is still inside: "Simon, made in Hong Kong, styled by Mr. Ernest." Please note that there are tiny nicks throughout, none of which are major. Women’s mini purse.
