Fantastic 1960s picnic-basket style purse

- Purse body is made of thin woven strips of wood painted light beige with black velvet trim along the top and bottom
- Curved top handle is made of wood with velvet on top
- The wooden lid is decoupaged with two images of seagulls on a golden yellow background on top, trimmed with black velvet along the edge, and painted on the bottom
- Lid flips open with two metal hinges on back
- Lined with black burlap
- Bottom is lined with green felt
- Label: Betsy B of Florida, Fort Myers

Great condition. A few tiny marks on the body (see pictures) and a slight scratch on the large seagull's eye, only noticeable upon close inspection. The velvet, resin, and lining are all in excellent condition. Presents beautifully!
