Here's a fun and rare example from the mid-1960's crafting movement...

This uncut self-assembly pattern fabric has a little history behind it: it was designed by Joy & Malcolm Wilcox, around 1963-65, and won them a Design Centre Award in 1965! Finding them uncut is still somewhat rare. The design is featured in a book printed after the award, with a collection of other toy designs, including a soldier, a cat and Miss Anna. I believe these were also produced at the home of Joy & Malcolm Wilcox.

It was hand-printed onto a 23 1/4" x 17 1/2" piece of medium weight woven cotton. The ink is moderately lightweight and fairly soft at hand. The overall condition is very good with some yellowing throughout the center front, one small stain at lower left corner and one 1" slice at the top (see photos). The pinked edges have frayed only slightly.
