The set includes 6 nesting trays which stack perfectly together when not in use and give you 6 different sizes for extra versatility. The wood has been beautifully lacquered to resemble rosewood, a dense and deep rich red toned wood. But they are made of a lightweight wood such as pine or balsa and are very easy to move around. They are octagonal in shape with ornately hand carved scalloped footed bases. The bottom sides are each marked by the maker in Korean.
