Absolutely stunning silver brocade gown with beaded details from B Altman on Fifth Avenue in NYC in the 1960s. Metallic silver and white brocade fabric with gorgeous starburst beading along the top. The beads in the center are faceted and catch the light so that they look colorful and holographic.

Long sleeves with beaded details at cuffs. Small slits on cuffs. back zips.

Labeled a size 12 but seems closer to a small. Measurements below laying flat:
chest: 17”
waist: 13.5”
hips: 24.5”
length: 53.5”
Sleeve length: 21.5

Has B Altman tag and ILGWU union tag dating it to the 60s.

in good vintage condition with a few minor flaws (see close ups):
- missing a few beads in back along zipper and in one spot near the side
- has a few faint spots near bottom and one on chest
- has some puckering along hemline, I’m assuming because of how the hem is sewn. I’m sure it could be pressed flat and/or re-sewn to fix
