An extremely rare find, in Mint condition! These were also made for women, but going by the label, this is a man's shirt for an 18 year old "boy", by Elderado. Although this is not an official Dr. Kildare Shirt, it is in the style, made of cotton, and not jersey. My uncle was in the mens' fashion trade, and he assured me these were advertised as being "like" Dr. Kildare tunics.
I was crazy about the Dr. KIldare TV series in the 1960's, as was everyone else back then. Richard Chamberlain had the face of an angel, he recorded an album, and, of course, none of us ( at that age and time) knew he was in the closet! I can't find another one on line to find a price range, so I am just guessing now, until another one shows up. .
