DETAILS: This vintage 1960s sheath dress is simply designed and easy to wear, leaving the eye popping pattern to take center stage. The dress is gently fitted with bust darting, and has a rounded neckline bound in self-fabric. Long sleeves end in closed cuffs. The dress is shown in some photos with a black leather belt from my own closet, used for inspiration - it is not included with purchase.
SIZE: No size label
Bust - 39" (99cm)
Shoulders - 15. 75" (40cm)

FABRIC/COLORS: The fabric is a synthetic jersey with a subtle satiny vertical striping in the weave. The intricate pattern that creates the horizontal stripes is sometimes referred to as flame pattern stitching. This one is done mostly with black and scarlet red, along with a little white. The pattern also reminds me a bit of an electrocardiogram printout! The bottom 4" of the dress is a solid black doubleknit fabric that is a bit heavier than the jersey.
TAGS: A Preferred Fashion
CLOSURES: A long metal zipper down the back.
CONDITION: I see a single tiny hole in the fabric under the right arm - see closeup. It shouldn't be seen during wear. No other issues noted.
