1960s Cocktail dress.

CHRISTIAN DIOR?

Black ruffle evening cocktail dress.

This dress has no labels. I have come across others like this over the years that were 1965 Christian Dior. Without the label we will never know.

Dress is very interesting. There is an over dress that is cut in a shift style. Longer in the front and cut up in the back to come together at the back waist. Accented by a big sturdy ruffle. At the top of the ruffle is a flower with beads in the center. Closure is a zipper on the under dress and a series of hooks and snaps for the over dress.

Scoop neckline has wide set straps.

Deep scoop back.

Excellent condition.

No stretch.
