Absolutely AMAZING Ticos platform Brogue style shoes from the 60's/70's. What a wonderful addition to your vintage collection! How cute would these be with a short skirt and some colored tights? LOVE!
Features a 0.5" platform at the front and a chunky 2" heel.
No stamp indicating material, but it seems to be leather with possibly a vinyl overlay at the toe.
Hexagon "bolt" style lace grommets.
Stamped size 8 1/2 - please keep in mind this is a VINTAGE 8 1/2. These shoes fit more like a women's 7.5 to an 8. (I wear an 8.5-9 and could not even get my foot in them, otherwise I would have kept them!)
Shoe measures approximately 10" long. Widest part of the sole measures 3 3/8" on the outside.
Note - the first photo makes the shoes look two different colors - they are the same color, please see other photos. There was just an issue with lighting in the first photo.
These shoes are in very good to EXCELLENT vintage condition!!! They do not appear to have been worn - see photos of soles. The only issues are some slight discoloration, they have yellowed a little with age. There are some minor stains/scuffs (see photos). It is possible these could be cleaned up/polished out. I did not attempt to do so. These shoes are very STIFF, as they have never been broken in. Keep in mind, these shoes are 50-60 years old. :)
