This is a fantastic vintage late 1960's to 1970's maxi skirt. It is handmade and the text in the seam reads "Whittaker Textile Imports". It is made of a soft polyester (possibly a nylon or acetate blend) fabric in a wonderful bold floral print in orange, gold, blue, brown and olive green on a white background. It is a pull on style with a flat fitted waistband, a single side seam, and a nice full maxi length sweep. There is a lot of fabric here! It is in an amazing plus size 53" waist! There are so many possibilities for this piece! You could add elastic or a drawstring for a very full smaller size skirt, or even turn it into a wrap skirt or dress! The colors are bold and vibrant and the fabric has a wonderful feel! Whittaker Textile Imports is a Floral Hawaiian/Polynesian Fabric and is vintage circa 1960's
