Prepare for comments and compliments, when wearing this fab handmade leather link bag!

These purses and bags were popularized in the late 1960's and 1970's, and I believe they may have been a crafting fad. Small pieces of varying leathers are cut into little 'figure eight' shapes, which are then linked together like a chain. I've seen many different designs and styles over my years of dealing vintage clothing and accessories. This one is a tad larger than most, and has a special feature: wire rimmed handles! This gives the bag more sturdiness and strength, as well as gives more comfort for use. The overall condition is excellent to very good, with a few areas where it looks like the glue spilled a bit, during creation, giving the black leather panels an extra sheen, but is otherwise not super noticeable. I have also repaired a couple of spots, which are slightly noticeable. Please see photographs for full details. No maker's marks or labels present.
