60’s Mod Silver Shift Dress

Classic 1960s Mod silver shift dress. Too cute! The material is quilted in a diamond like pattern and is ivory with a shimmery silver threading throughout. Very mod, very 60s, so cute!

This is a Bleeker Street label dress. This label was owned by the Jonathan Logan company and Bleeker Street was created to create clothing geared towards the younger people who were frequenting Bleeker Street in NYC (all of Greenwich village in the 60s was referenced often as “Bleeker street”) this particular design is from their 1969 line which is why it has the hidden zipper as the label didn’t start doing the technique until that year. (They were one of the first mainstreams to incorporate it in mass production).

It’s in perfect shape!

No rips, stains or tears! The only flaw (if you want to calm it that is a a sharpie marking on the tag. (This came from a curator which is why it’s marked as such but it’s only on the tag, no bleed through and you can see it obviously).

No size tags but it measures out to a modern size 8 or medium. The material is polyester as has some stretch to it.
