60’s Dress Black and White Polka Dot Shift$50.00
This adorable black and white polka dot 1960s dress is deadstock vintage, never worn. A sleeveless shift style, the dress has darts that provide moderate shaping at the bust and waist, but no actual waist seam. The round collar is made of black organza petals, and trimmed with a black satin bow. The white background fabric is printed with the black polka dots. The crisp fabric looks similar to mid-weight linen, and feels like a blend of rayon and acetate, almost certainly best if professionally dry-cleaned rather than washed, in order to keep its crisp texture and avoid any potential dye bleeding form the collar. The dress is unlined and fastens in back with metal zipper. In excellent to mint, unworn condition, this darling mid-1960s polka-dotted dress may almost be worn belted with the narrow sash, as shown.
