This vintage 1950s necktie is one of those quiet designs with a wealth of detail once you start to contemplate it. There's the geometric jacquard pattern, with multiple squares and circles. There's the white motifs that look sort of like buttons, some inside diamond shapes. There's also the small budded cross motifs that surround and create space. The fabric is silk.
