RARE Circa 50's GORGEOUS LUCITE Charles Kahn Handbag

This is a RARE Charles Kahn Lucite Handbag from the 1950's. The Handle, Lid, and Center Front have Reverse Carved Flowers and Leaves. The Rare Part of this Handbag is the Lace Design. The Body of the Handbag has a Lace Design that has Silver Sparkles. This Handbag is not featured in any of the Lucite Handbag Source Books. It has Four Clear Feet on the Bottom.

Some History of the Charles Kahn Handbag Company - The company was located in Miami, Florida. This is a style used by Charles Kahn with clear handles and lids. He used metallic colors for the base of many of his handbags. This one is a beautiful silver satin color. These handbags were made with Dupont's Shiny Satin-finish Lucite. The second photograph shows a Charles Kahn advertisement from 1957.

Near Mint Condition - This lovely is in Awesome Condition, almost Perfect! This Lovely is in Near Mint Condition with only one or two tiny scratches on the bottom that are almost not visible. The catch is slightly loose, but it stays closed when carrying it. There is no clouding, chips, cracks, or odor. The stick-on label is still well adhered. It is Ready to Add to Your Collection and to Carry!
