Rare bag by iconic 1950s handbag brand Morris Moskowitz. The body is fuzzy black felted wool and the handle is gorgeous sculptural gold colored metal - which I'm 98% sure is brass. The handle is a single oval piece of metal slipped through two metal loops, and it swings back and forth. The felted wool is in excellent condition, with just some mild wear (mostly tarnish) showing on the brass handle from being touched. Brass polish would remove the tarnish and make the handle much brighter. The interior is lined with cream colored satin that does have stains on it - visible in images. The interior pocket includes a small square makeup mirror. The logo MM is printed on the interior satin. The pictures I took don't do it justice - the shape makes it hard to photograph and the felted wool absorbs the light - it's really gorgeous in person. The body of the bag is rounded and soft, so it doesn't stand up by itself. The bag measures 10. 5" wide x 7" high x 6" deep. The handle drop is 5".
