Vintage 1950s blue velvet and tulle cupcake dress. One of the most beautiful dresses I have had in awhile. Strapless dress with a velvet bodice and full, choppy cut, tulle skirt. There are pleated fans of tulle at the bust line giving that gorgeous crumb catcher effect. It is not easy to see in the pictures but the lining is actually a purply pink color. If you added a petticoat it might stand out more. It is a gorgeous contrast with the blue.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. There had been some darts added to the lining at the bust line and it been taken in on the non zipper side. I took the darts out and let the side back out. This does show somewhat in the velvet (see pictures). There is some discoloration at the hemline of the lining. Zipper works well. Clean and ready to wear.
