Backed in a black tulle (not a petticoat, the fabric is faced in tulle)

Iridescent plastic trim is embroidered between each row

Fastens at the waistband with hooks and bars and a metal toothed Prentice zipper down center back

Condition: Good. The plastic trim does have some breaks, but this is really only noticeable upon close inspection. I have steamed and steamed the velvet, but it still has that “crushed” look, although I do not think it is technically crushed velvet. See photos. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
