50s quilted velvet circle skirt- it’s not a complete circle but it’s close for sure! Actually more flattering than a circle because you get that nice A line flow that shows a little more of your rear end off.
Great shape for something close to 70 years old, side zip, maybe a a popped stitch in the quilt- when I investigate I can’t find any but black thread on black velvet? SHORT hem, I think it wouldn’t have as nice of a swing if it had a bulky hem- but no room for making it longer!
