DESCRIPTION: This ca. early 1950s' tie is all handpainted in shades of brown, tan, light and dark rose, and yellow with a touch of orangey-red. Great mid-century look. Perfect for spring. Will complement a tan, beige, off-white, pale yellow, or pink shirt or contrast nicely with a dark brown or black one. Appears to be acetate with an acetate lining; has a buckram interlining.

SIZE: Approx. 52" long x 3 3/4" wide at widest, 2 3/8" at flared end

CONDITION: Overall excellent. Some wrinkling (probably due to the paint), so could use a good pressing (use a press cloth). I lightly steamed it, but did not iron it. There's a tiny hole at the left edge (<1 mm) that I didn't notice until I held this in bright daylight. Not noticeable under normal lighting. Last photo viewed at normal size (do not magnify it) shows this at approximate 100% of real size. Priced to account.
