Made between 1955-1959 This has a Satiny Shimmering finish that only Charles Kahn made. The top and handle are carved in a criss cross design in clear lucite. The bottom is also clear and has little clear feet. The shape is an Oval. This style of Charles Kahn handbag is featured in the book "Plastic Handbags Sculpture" to Wear by Kate E. Dooner, page 65. This Style Handbag by Charles Kahn is also featured in the Book "Carry Me! 1950's Lucite Handbags an American Fashion" by Janice Berkson on page 172. Measurements - Length - 7.75" Width - 4" Height - Almost 3.25" without the handle, 7.75" with the handle It measures 7" long and 3" wide on the inside in length so it will hold the smaller Cell Phones, Your Lipstick, and Keys. Near MINT Condition - This lovely is in Awesome Condition, almost Perfect! This Lovely is in Near Mint Condition with only one or two tiny scratches that are almost totally not visible. The Clasp closes well and there is no clouding, chips, cracks, or odor. Apparently over the years the stick-on label was lost, but this is definitely a Charles Kahn Handbag.
