This is a very cool vintage necktie, with a fabulous print. The silk jacquard is woven in an intricate irregular pattern. The print features blue, cream and black motifs against a crimson red background. I can't decide whether the motifs remind me more of birds or fish, but I lean toward fish because of the black net shapes positioned behind - well, either fishing nets or spider webs!

CONDITION: If you look at the white faille lining, you will see evidence of multiple previous small stains - Someone did an awesome job cleaning this at some point, because I don't see any evidence of stains on the front side of the tie.
